Collecting Information from Third-Party Websites

We may collect information about your online activity through cookies placed on your browser or device, even after you leave our Service. This information is used to improve the Service and personalize your online experience, as described in this Privacy Policy.

Information You Provide to Us

We collect and store any information that you input on the Service or provide to us through other means. While you have the option to withhold certain information, doing so may limit your ability to use certain Service features. The personal information you provide may be used to respond to your requests or questions, tailor the content you see, and keep you informed of new Service features. In the event that you or others send us personal correspondence such as emails, letters, or reports on your Service activities or posts, we may compile such information in a file unique to you. By using the Service, you consent to us contacting you via email, unless you provide consent for other forms of communication.

In addition, if you download any Mobile Apps and activate specific Platform Services, you may be providing us with additional information. We may also collect your location and calendar information to offer you a more personalized Service. Remember that you have the choice not to provide us with certain information, but this may result in limited access to Service features.

Using third-party account credentials or signing in through a third-party site or Platform Service to access our Services may result in the transmission of some content or information from those accounts (referred to as "Third Party Account Information") to your account with us, if you authorize such transmissions. This Privacy Policy covers any Third Party Account Information that is transmitted to our Services. Some Services may offer the ability to automatically transmit Third Party Account Information to your profile or vice versa.

To fully utilize the Service, you must provide registration information, such as an email address and password. Providing further information is optional, but may enable us to offer you a more personalized experience. After registering and providing your personal information, you are no longer anonymous to us. However, your name is only displayed on your profile with your consent. You may choose not to provide information by opting not to register for the Service.

Our main objective in collecting personal information is to ensure a secure and efficient user experience. We only collect information that is necessary to achieve this goal. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties without your explicit consent. However, we may disclose information if required by law or if we believe in good faith that it is necessary to protect the rights or property of Argonaut or others.

It is your responsibility to manage the flow of your private information between third-party Platform Services. If you share personal information online that is publicly accessible, it may be collected and used by others and redistributed through various media channels.

Information Security

We consider data to be a valuable asset that must be protected against loss and unauthorized access. To secure your personal information during transmission, we use industry-standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts all inputted information. All personal information that you provide through the Service, including data collected from other Platform Services, is stored securely. Only authorized employees or third-party service providers who require access to personal information to perform specific job functions, such as customer service representatives, are granted access to it.

However, due to the current regulatory environment, we cannot guarantee that all of your private communications and personal information will never be disclosed in ways not described in this Privacy Policy. For example, we may be required to disclose personal information to the government or third parties under certain circumstances, or unauthorized parties may intercept or access transmissions or private communications.

You are responsible for safeguarding your passwords and computer by logging off after using a shared computer. You are liable for any actions taken with your User ID and password, and we recommend that you do not share your password with third parties. If you choose to share your User ID, password, or personal information with third parties, you are responsible for any actions taken with your account, and should review the third party's privacy policy. If you lose control of your password, you may lose control over your personal information and be subject to legally binding actions taken on your behalf, such as if someone used your User ID and password to distribute defamatory content through the Service. Therefore, if you suspect that your password has been compromised, you should immediately change your password.

Cookies

When you visit the Site, we may use "cookies" to store a small file on your computer hard drive through your Web browser. These cookies are designed to store user preferences and track user trends, such as how people use the Site and their access preferences, solely for the purpose of improving the quality of access to the Site. Cookies help us understand how many people visit our Site and when, as well as how often and which pages they visit. Additionally, we use cookies to allow you to enter your login information less frequently. We do not collect personal information through cookies, and we do not combine cookie information with any other personal information to identify you. You can always decline cookies if your browser permits, although this may prevent you from accessing certain features on the Site and you may need to enter your login information more frequently. To refuse cookies, please set your browser to do so before using the Site. While we recommend keeping cookies activated to maintain the Site's full functionality, you can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to alert you when a cookie is being sent. Please note that we have no control over the use of cookies by third parties.

Information sharing

We may hire third-party service providers to assist with some aspects of our business, and in doing so, we may need to provide some of your personal information directly to these service providers. These service providers are obligated to keep this information confidential and are prohibited from using it for any purpose other than to facilitate Argonaut-related operations, unless you have given them permission to do so. We may also share our data, including personal information about you, with our partners and joint ventures for business purposes. If we do share your information with these entities, they are required to treat it with the same level of protection as they do their own users' information, to the extent permitted by law. If we buy or sell assets, including customer information, such information may be transferred to a third party.

In the event that Argonaut is acquired or goes out of business, customer information may be one of the assets that is transferred to a third party. You understand and acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and any acquirer of Argonaut may continue to use your personal information in accordance with this privacy policy. We may disclose your personal information, including your name, city, state, telephone number, and email address, in response to a verified request by law enforcement or government officials relating to a criminal investigation or alleged illegal activity. We may also disclose information in good faith to prevent imminent physical harm or financial loss or to report suspected illegal activity. This privacy policy applies only to the Argonaut Service, and we are not responsible for the privacy policies of any third-party websites that you may visit from links on our Site.

We may de-identify your personal information so that you are not personally identifiable, and provide this information to our partners. We may also share aggregate usage information with our partners to help them understand how people use our Services, but we will not disclose any information that would identify you as an individual. You will be notified and given the opportunity to opt-out before we share your personal information with any third parties, except in the situations described above.

Modifying Your Personal Information

You have the ability to disconnect from our Services at any time. To change your email address and contact details, simply go to the settings page. It's important that you promptly update any personal information that has changed or is inaccurate. You may also be able to add or update other information through the Service. Please note that even if you delete your account, some information may still be retained in our records. Any updates made to your information on third party sites or any information sent to you through phone, SMS or other means, will only be done with your explicit consent.
